Formula Sound AVC2
The AVC2 performs as an intelligent volume control and in operation is very simple.
If the average operating level is kept below the internally set threshold, the AVC2 has no effect.
If the average programmer level exceeds the threshold the unit will reduce its output level.
The level is reduced in discreet steps indicated by the l.e.d. bar graph meter on the front panel of the unit.
The action of the AVC2 is to fade between these steps and is almost undetectable in use.
The more one tries to increase the volume, the more the AVC2 will decrease it so that the system will barely change in perceived level.
If driven to maximum attenuation, the output level will be reduced by more than the increase in input level.
The mixer or pre amp feeding the AVC2 will probably be clipping, but the system will actually be at a lower than normal level.
A clip indicator is provided to show when the input stage of the AVC2 is being over driven.
Reducing the input level will gently release the attenuation provided by the AVC2.

Light Processor Q12 Description
This two preset desk has flash buttons on each channel and master faders to control the overall level of each preset and chase.
The total desk output is controlled by the grand master fader with instantaneous blackout.
Any setting of any number of channels may be stored as a scene in one of the 10 pages of 12 (total 120) scene memories.
Stored scenes may be subsequently recalled, modified or copied.
Scenes are recalled using the lower preset faders as scene submasters, multiple scenes may be mixed from the same or different pages.
A sequence of lighting may be programmed and stored in any of the 12 chase memories.
The individual steps of each sequence may contain settings of single or multiple channels or a previously stored scene.
The running speed may be varied using the chase rate control, manually advanced with the bump button or triggered by a music beat via the audio input or internal microphone.
The Q12 outputs both 0-10volts analogue and DMX512 serial protocol simultaneously.6
Each output channel may be mapped to any of the first 72 channels in the DMX chain.
